Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an independent, reliable and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Manager and Service personnel in a small yet busy heating and air conditioning office in Winona. Facilitates overall management of office activities, including:
- Customer service (answer phones; address emails, wait on walk-in customers).
- Schedule/dispatch service appointments/calls
- Perform financial transactions (payments, financing approvals, bank deposits)
- Draft proposals, process warranties/rebates, and compliance requests.
- Process mail; new customer set-up, maintain records, complete correspondence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years administrative assistant experience required.- Associates degree in related field preferred.
- Reliable and dependable. Report to work timely and as scheduled.
- Computer proficient in Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and potentially high call volume work environment.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to calmly handle challenging situations and/or customers.
- Ability to multitask, be a self-motivator, and maintain efficiency in a busy office environment.
- Personable, friendly demeanor with ability to work well with colleagues and customers of various backgrounds and personalities.
