Schneider Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for an independent, reliable and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Manager and Service personnel in a small yet busy heating and air conditioning office in Winona. Facilitates overall management of office activities, including:
- Customer service (answer phones; address emails, wait on walk-in customers).
- Schedule/dispatch service appointments/calls
- Perform financial transactions (payments, financing approvals, bank deposits)
- Draft proposals, process warranties/rebates, and compliance requests.
- Process mail; new customer set-up, maintain records, complete correspondence.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 - 2 years administrative assistant experience required.- Associates degree in related field desirable.
- Reliable and dependable. Report to work timely and as scheduled.
- Computer proficient in Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced and, at times, high call volume work environment.
- Strong customer service skills with ability to calmly handle challenging situations and/or customers.
- Ability to multitask, be a self-motivator, and maintain efficiency in a busy office environment.
- Personable, friendly demeanor with ability to work well with colleagues and customers of various backgrounds and personalities.

Assist Onalaska HVAC Install Department with delivery of heating, air conditioning, cooling, and ventilation units, supplies and parts to and from shop and job site using company vehicle. Must be able to physically lift/maneuver products up to 100 lbs. Advancement opportunity to learn HVAC trade and move into Install Tech position. Duties will include new installs or replacement of heating, air conditioning and ventilation units and equipment in residential and commercial settings in and around Winona and western Wisconsin.

- HVAC experience desired but will consider related experience such as construction, maintenance, plumbing and/or ductwork.
